Re: Just don't muck with it!!! :) (long, somewhat silly)

Mike,

the system as you have it set up now sounds great to you and that is
ALL that matters!! Why it does so is likely a combination of synergistic
matches, room acoustics, and your personal sonic preferences. The best
thing you can do is sit back and enjoy it :) If you start to doubt
that you could possibly be getting such good sound on the cheap, you
soon won't be: you will get the upgrade bug and spend oodles of money
and time trying to get even better sound. If you look too hard at
tweaks, you'll soon have your components shining back at you and the
cables looking like tinsel garlands with all the Peter Belt foil bits
stuck to them; your pockets will no longer jingle because all your loose
change will be sitting on top of your speakers; you won't be able to go
on a bike ride because on a whim you took out the innertubes to make
an air-suspension stand; and your food will spoil because you shut off
ALL other electrical devices in the home while listening to music :)

Enjoy!
