I would shop a newer used DAC

I still run a DDE-V1.1 via optical on a mega changer...not bad unit with PS-3,however there are many better newer used units out there.
If you don't have the PS3 high current upgrade supply it may be pointless.
Dusty Vawtner the AA designer is 'Here' at Channel Islands Audio.
He can make suggestions.E-mail is at the site and he's courteous.
Channel Islands has a upgraded supply that can be fitted to it.
He would probably suggest updating the DAC as well.
