Re: Why don't people use sandboxes to isolate their speakers?

I have used sandboxes with success under components. Thus I know the principle works. I use air bladders and rollerbearings under my components now. That combination seems to work well for me. I need some isolation from my suspended floor and don't like the idea of my speakers having all that slop. I can spike my speakers to the plinth of the sandbox and let the sand do it's job of coverting the vibration to heat.
