ANother suggestion to help improve on internal fuses. Buy yourself some Silclear from Mapleshade and apply it to the fuse ends. Significantly helps in this regard, and it's a useable tweak for any piece of electrical equipment (I believe UL certification mandates the uise of fuses just about everywhere).
