my advice,if you really can't or don't want to use the marantz's "as is" you could sell them for a pretty handsome sum to someone who does want them..or..if thier worth really is of no concern to you then put them up for trade...you could name just about any amp[s] that you DO want,and you'll lkely get your pick offered up in trade mighty quick..at least hang on to them for a bit,read up on them,check ebay etc and learn what it is you've really been given before you make that decision to mess with them..these are top notch equipment alright and they're considered pretty special,this is one hell of a gift you've been given
