I think you hit it on the head when you said "you" had no use for it. Would I rather have my Fisher KM60 for the audio quality yes! Unfortunately (for me anyway) my desire to receive a station that is almost 90 miles away over a low mountain range (more like large hills actually)necessitates a tuner that will DX well and as there are two almost adjacent stations along the way selectivity (this is what really kills the Fisher as selectivity is not it's forte) is also an issue. Horses for courses in my case anyway. As I mentioned the MR74 does a great job with excellent audio quality but is a little massive for the bedroom. Thanks for the response.
