Obviously a marvel for the money & serious DX machine. However, proponents of the HD industry are stating CD like sonics. Thus, the Sony was absured to me when I heard it. Being careful here, I do not have the time or skills to advise Sony any fixes to the sonics either.

One other issue beyond the 47K input of my amplifier is perhaps the Sony has an automatic narrowing of the I.F. passband thru the digital signal processing due to an indoor antenna providing less than optimal signal strength.

Al I do know for sure is I did not have a use for it.
