I've got two FM 90B's...these were the wired equivalents of the KM60 kits. These are musically as wonderful, I believe, as the 10B's and better (less "woolly" than the Sherwoods and Eico's and HK Citations I used to have.
I also use a Carver TX22 (the earliest version from 1982) which bested eleven other SS tuners in my home in 1982, and has been a standard since. The FM 90B's sound almost point-for-point as musical, and go the TX one better with that ineffable tube "dimensionality". The TX bests them on ultimate DX noise-free reception, but the 90B's are no slouches in that department as well (I can bring in Boston stations from 90+ miles away on a good night, using a simple elevated dipole antenna in my bedroom system, second floor.
These are available used for 100-150 bucks (perhaps a bit more if mint and with cabinet) and can be gone over and refurbished for perhaps another 100-150 if needed.
