New Amp for Sansui G-22000 Receiver

Posted by t mccauley on May 1, 2007 at 04:36:52:

Hello everyone! I recently got a great deal (really the best deal, it was free) on a great Sansui G-22000 receiver. The stereo is in great condition, cosmetically and electronically, with only one problem. The original power amp section is missing! Since I'm not really hopeful about an affordable amp section turning up anywhere soon, I think I'll have to use a different amp.

So, my question to you all is, does anyone know how to hook up a different power amp (new or old, as long as it's readily available)in such a way that the wattage meters will still work and the "protector" light won't flash? I think a pinout of the "main connector" plug would help here.

thanks in advance,
