Steve O this is helpful. When you say the doubler diode, is that CR 101 that sort of goes to the magic eye? Or do you mean CR100 that connects from primary side of first coil to second side of first tube? And I am still confused about nomenclature here. The short stubby xfmr is labeled 38k and tall one 19. Is Z100 the 19 or the 38? And is L100 the one labeled 67k on top of chassis? Can I use an audio generator set to 19khz or does it have to be specifically an RF one with some modulation or sweep impressed on the signal?
