Re: Anyone know how to "open up" a Kora Triode preamplifier?

John--You must remove the three screws across the top of the back and all 4 screws on the front panel. Its wierd and when you pull the cover off be careful because there are some sideways protuding tabs on the back --it a juggle act and I cut the tabs off after all the mess of juggle. Its a nice pre amp and good value but the last piece of Kora stuff for me --two dealers got the run around when I asked for a schematic and whoever distributes them is real stupid ot downright deceptive since several request for schematic resulted in owners manual first and then a stupid pictoral but no schematic. For me Audio Res is not as good value but at least they back up for tech people like me. No matter haw bad Kora is it can`t hold a candle to Goldmund what wanted me to send my SRA amp to Switz for service --the module went out and they will NOT supply. I am too old for that kind of Mickey Mouse stuff. Max
