Re: Amperex 7316/GE question

Joe is dead on right. The Amperex 7316 is a superb tube (easily the best 12AU7 I have heard). But they are rare and getting pricey.I have seen them labled as Hewlett Packard and Beckman, also. As a matter of fact, there are 4 on Ebay now that are HP- NOS. I believe Upscale Audio had them for about $60 each.IMO, they are worth it.Smooth, sweet, very quiet, great soundstage, beautifully made, test great,etc.,etc.You owe it to yourself to try this tube! Bert
