It will not hurt anything to use that tube.

The filament rating os 2.5v with 2.5 amps, the same as a traditional 2A3.
If possible, you might check the bias of the tube in circuit to make sure it is not pulling too much or too little B+ current, but in general, this should not be an issue. You will not get any more power from your Moth, but you may like the sound.
