As someone whom has been actively researching tubes, by not only their brand names, but more importantly their particular factory sound which is more vital in selecting the correct tone in voicing ones system........, of all the Philips owned tube manufacturers, my absolute best sounding tubes as it relates to resolution as well as purity have to be those produced in the Valvo Hamburg Germany factory........, and speaking of German based companies on a whole, if you ever have the chance to hear a pair of the extremely rare Lorenz based anything?, I believe you'll begin to understand there's more to tubes then just Amperex ( actually made in the USA as opposed to Holland ) | Mullard and Telefunken's as some would have use to believe........

Seek and ye shall fine there's truth in my words.
