If you look, the ad shows parts values for a loundness circuit for different values of the potentiometer. You can use those values to fix your Eico. The best solution is to bypass the loudness circuit all together. The Eico used a custom resistor / capacitor part which you are not going to find NOS. I doubt your part is broken, so I can only guess you want to upgrade the parts.
