The Mullard 12AX7s,are those vintage?

The Genelex GL are truly marvelous tubes for sound quality and durability. The KT66 and KT77 and KT88 are all at the top of their class and the KT66 sounds identical to the original and the KT77 sounded as good or better than my originals however, my only quad of original KT77s are near new old stock but not matched so I don't know if it's a fair test or not.The GL KT88s have a full bodied sound without sacrificing correctness and I prefer them to my original GEC/Genelex KT88s which I have many of.
The GL tubes get getter sounding with more hours on them and they will really open up in a grand way after 200 hours..You will hear more refinement and subsequently a broader sound stage and better imaging.
The 12AX7 GL gold pins are an excellent phono and linstage tube. They hold their own against their vintage counterparts and this is Russian GL and not the Chinese version labeled Genelex. Both are excellent sounding tho.
