new project amp for 7591's -need advice

Posted by Steph-Trem on January 6, 2005 at 10:48:22:

Hi all,

Here is the deal: I have a pair of rare mono integreted Heathkit AA-23 in good esthtic shape. They sound ok, but they hiss a bit. (2-7591, 1-12au7, 1-6eu7 and 1-gz34 (mullard).

I'd like to rebuilt them in one chassis. I have built 3 kits so far (Bottlehead) and really like it. The thing is I don't feel comfortable in doing that without a schematic.

I'd like to rebuilt them with one input only and a volume control.

All your advice or ideas are welcome.

Thanks

Stephan (in snowy Montreal!)
