I had 100 ohm hum pots on the 300Bs, AC heated. Then I built LCRCL DC supplies using critical inductance input chokes. At that point it no longer mattered where I set the hum pot, no hum. So I got rid of the hum pots and just use 22 ohm resistors to create the "cathode" connections.
