Those 1 meg-ohm resistors are grid-to-ground, grid leak. Provides a ground reference for the signal grid. Helps to set bias, in cathode-bias arrangements. I don't think you need a "precise" resistor here. Non-inductive is prolly best.
I normally see 1 meg-ohm grid leak resistors, in 12AX7 cathode-bias arrangements.
