RE: Mundorf Cap (and other cap) Mavens Needed.....

Posted by Winston Smith on March 14, 2013 at 19:30:21:

Dear Mike C-

This is EXACTLY the type of info I sought. Endless thanks for your contribution.

Your observations have been echoed numerous times by many audiophiles. S/G/O seems the near unanimous choice by those who have tried them both in the type of position I will be employing the cap in. I was initially leaning towards S/O and not the S/G/O, but enough posts have made me feel that investing in the S/G/O is the most likely cap to give me what I seek.

But as you stated, everyone's opinion is valuable and informative (well, usually), and I am very thankful for any and all who have taken the time to share, even if I cannot adopt every viewpoint offered. I suspect that in the systems each poster used, and using the materials and caps each suggested, I would quite likely come to the very same conclusions they did, and offer the same advice they offered. So it is all good. :-)

Thanks again for your time and thoughts.

Cheers,

WS
