You have to decide if you want to go for the most output power or the best linearity or somewhere inbetween. They are usually mutually exclusive design goals. Just pointing that out because you seem like you want both.

Best thing to do would be to try both OT's and see what sounds best. Then you don't have to worry about its operating class or output power.
