Edison Price posts discontinued--What is next best sounding binding post?
Posted by Salectric on June 8, 2008 at 07:31:08:
I've uesd Edison Price speaker posts on my amp projects for many years for one reason. Despite their occasional failures due to the soft copper, they were the best sounding connectors I had tried. Many other binding posts impart a bright edge to the treble and lean out the midbass. The EP posts err on the side of being slightly dull which for me is easier to work around.
Since the EP is no longer available, what other type have you found to be the best sounding?
By the way, I am not trying to stir up any flame war. If you think binding posts all sound the same or make at most a miniscule difference in sound, I am not trying to argue with you. You're entitled to your opinion. I just want to hear the views of other folks like myself who find them to have a significant impact on sonics.
Thanks.
Dave
