Tandberg 12 portable

Was recently asked to fix this open reel deck for a friend. A classic of the 1960s, this was the "portable" version -- meaning it still weighs 25 lbs but is in a carrying case with a handle.

Once the refurbished pinch roller and idler wheel were installed, it fired up just fine and the playback quality is excellent. Terry's Rubber Rollers did a great job of renewing the wheels.

Only sad thing is now I have to give it back.
