As I said in an earlier post, the pictured machine appears to be a mock-up. I suspect I was right, since, according to MF at AnalPlan, it won't actually be demoed until October.

Why would a company spend thousands of euros to display and promote a non-existent product (at the Munich show)? My thought is that they're feeling out the market. My other thought is that this product may never see the light of day, especially at $4,500. Something like "concept cars" at auto shows. We'll know in a year (availability Q1 2017). Personally, if I'm going to spend $4,500 on a two track tape deck, it damn well better record. You read it here first.
