Need help with my Otari MX5050 MKIII.....

Posted by kootenay on December 2, 2011 at 11:52:04:

I've just cleaned it using the clean contact spray about 4 days ago. Now it's doing something funny, for some reasons when I push the play button it goes forward wind and the rewind button only works when I put the small reel on. What comes down to it, it doesn't do what it's suppose to do and on top of that it doesn't play anymore.

What did I do wrong? did I spray too much and wet some of the electronics contacts? What I can I do to fix it?

TIA....
