Indeed, the 4 best standmount speakers I have heard under 3kCDN in order are the:
Reference 3a MM De Capo
B&W N805
B&W CDM1NT
PMC TB2

other good ones out there of course

The 3a has the advantage of sensitivity for tube amps and a bottom end to die for.

The 805 though is less money and offers a very accomplished sound. I would love them myself...I'm turning a bit green that you have two sets(One set for rears....Ugggh...I'd be happy with them with no sub and using them as fronts). What a pity...one of those sets is being wasted for rear channel duty...

Out of sheer pity man send one set to me...let those 805s sing as fronts :(
