Goldmund Dialogues

Posted by Anand Mehta on August 24, 1999 at 06:56:41:

Has anyone had any experience with the Dialogues (older versions)? I'm looking for a new speaker replacement and a used (10yr old) set of Dialogues were the only ones that my tube amps would drive well.

Specifics:
Atma-Sphere M60 monoblocks
Currently running B&W CDM7se speakers

Tried:
Maggie 3.6s -- the sound was really compressed in the highs
B&W 802s
Eggleston Works Fontaine (for kicks -- dealer says they're not even returning his calls)

Thanks,
-Anand
