I have to agree with fstein. Unless you have a really large room to accommodate, there's a plethora of great choices at or even below $5K. The bigger key in your case, (all tube amplification) is to look for speakers that are truly tube friendly. You'll get far better results with a tube friendly $5K speaker than an a $10K 3-way with an overly complex xover. Spend $10K if you must, but choose a tube friendly design.
