Modding a crossover to accept bi-wire is generally a pretty easy job, and the results can be surprising. I'm pretty sure most Bozak crossovers used a number of electrolytic caps, which, if original, are decades past their sell-by date. If that's the case with yours, replacing the 'lytics will make a huge difference.
If you do try bi-wiring, try it with the wire pairs kept separated by an inch or two for most of their run. Some say (I'm one of them) that physical separation is required to get the better low-level detail that bi-wiring can give you.
