Looking for a sub to pair with my set up...

Hello,
Im looking for a recommendation on a sub to pair with my system (equipment listed below). I listen to all types of music and am generally happy with my setup. But sometimes, usually when Im playing hiphop/dance type music, I feel the bass may be a little lacking. This is usually if Im having a party and playing off my ipad or something, so not real intense listening sessions.
My current setup:
Wharfdale 240 speakers
Peachtree Nova 150 amp
Rega Planar 3 turntable
Possible future upgrades:
Focal Aria 948 speakers
I may move to a tube amp setup eventually
