RE: Behringrer crossover for subs - should I get it?

I have a friend who designs his own speakers and uses Behringer crossovers for all his crossovers, not just the bass. His systems(he has multiples) all sound excellent, with very good dynamics and excellent transparency and detail. So I'd recommend trying it.
The extreme flexibility allows superb control of the transfer function for each driver/crossover combo especially for someone not experienced with advanced analog crossover design. The crossover you are using now assumes flat drivers above and below the crossover point which isn't true. A good digital crossover can compensate for this.
