Try to find a small pair of ROR speakers.
They were made in Flushing, NY from around 1972 to the late 80's.
NYCs Crazy Eddie sold them for serious $$$$ back then.
Many ended up in recording studios as small monitors.
My pair were 4 ohm, had a 4" woofer, a 4" drone cone, and a 1" textile dome Peerless tweeter.
All wood veneer, even around the drivers and the back.
I bought my pair on flea-bay 10 years ago for $40.
VERY hard to find, but well worth it when you do.
