RE: Anyone use B&W PM1 for surrounds

Posted by John Elison on November 2, 2013 at 20:30:09:

I bet they would sound very good for surround speakers with Nautilus 800 for the main speakers. I bought a pair just over a year ago and played them for a couple of months as my main speakers. They sounded great, but I needed a bit more volume so I upgraded to Thiel CS3.7. The Thiels have an entirely different sound, but I've gotten used to the Thiels and they seem to be much better suited for my main speakers. The little PM1s are some of the nicest sounding B&W speakers, though. I actually liked the sound of them better than some of the larger B&W models like the 804s.

Good luck,
John Elison
