I agree I have just changed 9 months old speakers for a pair 25 year old KEF104/2 that fortunately are in excellent condition sound far better than any modern speaker I have auditioned irrespective of price and plenty of bass in my room without active Kube. Modern speakers I find become quickly very tiring to listen to especially for prolonged listening.
