Re: Who makes Audio Note speaker stands?

Posted by RGA on May 15, 2006 at 08:48:29:

Bob I would not say the Skylans are better stands -- The AN stands don't ring.

The reason I propose Skylan is that they are less than half the price. Skylan is about as good as stands get espeically when compared to everything else I have seen for around the same money and often a lot more. The Sound Anchors stands are very sturdy very heavy units. My decision to go with the AN stands was largely that my Skylan that I was using for the AN K sat too high for the J and that my dealer gave me 100% trade-in on the Skylan stands for the AN stands and so the price was about $100.00 Cad for the AN stands. Otherwise I would have went with the Skylans.

Audio Note has so many product levels -- why not a stand product level. Level 2 - Skylan -- level 3 SoundAnchors? Okay that's pushing it a bit too far perhaps but...
