What's the most magical speaker you've heard? We're all familiar with the audiophile terms out there, but which set have you had that actuallly illicits a strong emotional response? In my 10 years as an audiophile I find it *exceedingly rare*. Maybe just a few pairs out of hundreds that actually have this quality. This quality shows through nearly all recordings (good, ok, and sometimes even bad ones).
There have been speakers I've owned and enjoyed, and then there are the ones that communicate the musical message with aplomb . Can't put my finger on it (uncanny cohesiveness, midrange performance, slight warmth of character?) Anyhow here's my vote:
