If I'm not mistaken, the DPS series is made exclusively for Circuit City stores. They sound terrible. It is unfortunate that a company who makes truly excellent subs would build such a poor device. There is a reason that the good Velodyne's - SPL, Digital Drive - cost much more, they are a superior product. If you just want booming distorted bass for home theater explosions, they may suffice. If you want musical subs to augment any decent audio system, you will be severely dissappointed.
