for the KX-12 Series TwoMy friend was looking for speakers for his bedroom, but did'nt want to spend big$$ since he already has a living room stereo/home theatre. We went to the usual places, Good Guys, Ultimate electronics, then Circuit City, where he noticed these. I think he paid the same as the other reviewer, $200 each. "IMO they are worth about that much". No offence to any owners of this speaker, but there is nothing special about them. Build quality is good, but not great, finish OK, & stand/boards on bottom to raise speaker up are flimsy, one broke on my friends. As far as sound goes they sound relativly good, there main streanths being, lots of bass & the ability to play VERY LOUD. He recently said something about them not sounding good at very loud levels, but he does'nt have them set up properly. I have a 1.8wpc SET & would like to see how they sound with it, being 99dbs/sen. IMHO a good speaker for those on a budget, but i dont think they would satisfy "some" audiofiles.
Product Weakness: can be bright, build quality Product Strengths: high sens, lots of bass, play "VERY LOUD"
