I don't see an issue. One one hand he scored an incredible deal on stuff he may not use, and he'll sell the rest to fund other audio deals. So long as he bought them honestly, aside from a little boasting, he's clear.

Should I be ashamed for buying mint Klipsch Heresy speakers at auction for $40 (which I did)? Hardly.

His example cited someone suggested keeping something to which he had no legal title. That's theft; quite a big difference.
