I have had and listened to both. I like the AVVT better. It's a true mesh (not mesh window), and seems more reliable. The EMLs had some issues where they died an early death (and getting any kind of warranty replacement was a hassle). Maybe that's not an issue anymore, but who knows.

I still have a NOS pair of AVVT 2A3M if someone is looking for any.
