I'd highly recommend the iron upgrade for the Paramours. Takes them up a big notch and is a great value for the money. Will not make them as good as Paraglows, but it will make it the "small house in the good neighborhood."
I've heard lots of 300Bs, and I like the 2A3's better, but it is personal preference and systems, as everyone else has pointed out. If you get the iron upgrade, you'll have a much better idea of what a 2A3 can do- in the bass, especially.
