Agreement, uh, I think.

I watched all this come down over the last few months. Grumbles here about the predominance of DIY posts, leading to the floating of the DIY forum. The DIY forum flourishes.

I bookmark my visits to all the forums by simply punching on the first post. Since the (alleged) excorcism of the DIY bums (hey, I represent that crack!), many times I visit here, there are no new posts; this in 24 hours. When there are one or two new posts, they run about one third posts about parts, mods, DIY!

Now, I have no opinion on this; I visit all the forums, so I don't care what's on any individual one; I'm just looking for interesting threads. I would say, however, that if you non-DIY SET guys want to keep your very own forum from dying on the vine, you should probably get some non-DIY SET dialogs going over here, because this forum is looking moribund to me; and I think Dave is having uneasy suspicions in that direction himself. I've always thought that SET was primarily a DIY movement / viewpoint, myself, but WTFDIK; I'm a push-pull animal.

Like I say, I have no personal opinion about this; I think it's all fabulous, although I don't give a sh!t if you got your $tereophile yet.   Carry on.
