There is (was) a Jeff Korneff(sp) designed/built 45 amp at Audiogon a couple of days ago. I listened to some of his designs and they seemed to be pretty darn wonderful sounding. Under $2000.00. He also will custom build you mono 45's.. probably around $2000.00 pr. I'm waiting to try a pair with my speakers.
