Re: Welcome back!

yep, Im back, I was at my girls house when I posed this question..
Had a pretty good trip, 1600 miles all said and told, at least half of which was crappy weather ranging from rain to hail to snow and back to rain, it didnt really affect our plans, could have been warmer but ow well..

As far as what happens when you run a long shaft motor on a boat wanting a short shaft.. Although I have never actualy experienced this, As I understand it, having the shaft lower in the water then it should be will cause a loss of forward velocity. Something about some of the power being diverted to trying to pick the nose up instead of pushing forward. having the prop at the right depth is very important for max preformance.. It will run like that, it just wont run as good as it could like that. That and it will also affect my ability to run in shallow water by about 6 inches.

So how goes your prodject? I checked out your latest pix.. bout time to start a new thread on it anyway unless your finished, so Im looking forward to hearing how you are doing.
