does it jump to its max rmp or slowely climb to its max?. if it climbs slowly, it could be a to much angle on the prop thing Does the engiene sound like its laboring? if it is, that is a good sign of too much prop.
is your boat slow? or are you just wanting it to plane? that motor should move that boat.
