Calculating the Buoyancy for a Pontoon...

We have received an in house Email asking if we could provide the information for calculating the Volume and Buoyancy of a pontoon. As others may be interested in this math exercise, there is a link below that will get the project started. After opening the page--scroll up--and click on the link “Another float for a lake”.
Small Pontoon Craft seem to be enjoying a large following at this time. Anybody built one they would like to tell us about?
