I have a very similar outboard and the most likely problem is the fuel pump element in the carburetor...a very small piece of silicon that acts like a pump that can dry up or get torn over time.. Check out (http://www.discount-marine-parts.com/ob_eska_sears.html) and (http://home.earthlink.net/~brixent/) for manuals and parts. These are Eska motors built in 84-85'. If you can locate a good local small engine parts dealer they should be able to get things for you at a much better price then say Sears. Hope this helps. Also you can search for the following book (IBSN 0872884643) at your local library systems...it is a manual that covers this particualr outboard.

Hope that helps
