New Boat to the Small Boat Forum Stable...

We purchased a neat Bartender 19 last weekend. These double ended modified dory style boats were designed by George Calkins in the 50's and 60's for going over the bar on the Columbia River to fish for salmon in the Pacific. 19 feet LOA, Beam 6' 8", Draft 8". The 50 hp. Merc is in a well. This boat was built by Mr. Calkins in 1982 for his own use and has a sail rig...!!!
Anybody else have a Bartender? Got some insight on how these boats run? Please post your comments and questions.
