Re: Trim

An old 45 hp motor will most likely have a big power head and will weigh alot when tilting it up but tilting it is possible. I had an Evinrude Lark 40 on a 14' Sea King and it was a hoss to tilt back but I handled it. The trim can be adjusted with the pin lacated in the motor mount that goes across the mount and places the motor on a different angle than the transom. This is usually a five position adjustment but be carefull not to drop the pin overboard when removing it.
