Looking for a small FRP rowing boat

Posted by VincentG on March 14, 2004 at 06:35:42:

Hello All,
I am new to this forum. I am looking for a small rowing boat in fiberglass or other type of synthetic hull material. I have been considering the Hunter Liberty, but it seems a bit small if I want to go rowing with my two sons 5 and 8 y.o., I like that it is self bailing and positive flotation if they go out by themselves. Also it is very light weight. A classic style dinghy around 11' long would be great but I haven't been able to find any currently being manufactured. Or a small peapod or a whitehall type. Any help would be greatly appreciated, please remove NOSPAM from my email. I currently have an Old Towne 14' square back that has two sets of oars and rows like s**t.
